Aluminum Cable wrap foil is the material used as shielding in Cable TV wire. This is Mylar coated aluminum foil in ribbons and it contains 45 to 55% aluminum by weight. 

Foil scrap should be baled and care should be taken to keep any other material from getting mixed in the bales. We purchase this material in any quantity delivered in bales to our facility in New Jersey. We can also arrange pick up for truckload quantities of 30,000 lbs ( 14 metric ton) or more.
